Sippy Downs Drive to Kawana Way Interchange - Proposed design
The Sippy Downs Sunshine Motorway upgrade will:
- Upgrade the Sunshine Motorway from two lanes between Sippy Downs Drive and Kawana Way;
- Provide a new interchange connecting Dixon Road, Claymore Road and Sippy Downs Drive;
- Accommodate a future west-bound on-ramp;
- Provide better access between the Sunshine Motorway and Sippy Downs;
- Improve safety for motorists, cyclists and pedestrians; and
- Provide better traffic flow with less congestion.
At this stage, construction is expected to start in the second quarter of 2006 with completion by mid 2007. In the interest of safety and convenience, Main Roads will keep you informed throughout the construction period.

Homemaker Centre provides even more choice at Chancellor Park
Residents of Chancellor Park now have even more reason to smile following the launch of the new $5.9 million service and retail precinct forming part of the estate’s major commercial development located on Chancellor Village Boulevard.
“Chancellor Village Convenience Centre” was completed in November 2005 by Reed Property Group and comprises approximately 1,350 square metres of retail space incorporating 13 quality service and retail tenants including banking, realty, legal, physiotherapy, hair and beauty, a florist and various food outlets.
The new centre is conveniently located adjacent to “Woolworths Market Place” and is the latest addition to Chancellor Village which already includes the $20 million “Chancellor Homemaker Centre” and Queensland’s first fully non-smoking tavern.
