Temporary closures will be in place at the Sunshine Motorway interchange from Tuesday 19 February to Thursday 21 February between 8pm and 5am for bridge construction works.
Bruce Highway traffic will proceed as normal. During the closure, motorists using or seeking access to the Sunshine Motorway will be detoured via the Mons Road and Sippy Downs interchanges and Tanawha Tourist Drive. Local access to Sippy Creek Road, Cunning Road and Wilson Road will remain open.
Nearby residents may experience some noise during the night works with heavy machinery in use, including reversing beepers and flashing lights which are a safety requirement. Lighting towers will also be used for additional light in the work areas.
