Bridge piling activities at the Sunshine Motorway have progressed for two of four new bridges to be built. The piling rig has completed piling operations near the Sunshine Motorway, adjacent to Tanawha Road. This is in preparation for a third bridge to be built over the future western service road for construction of a new eastbound exit ramp from the Bruce Highway to the Sunshine Motorway.
As part of the upgrade, two new bridges will be built over the Sunshine Motorway for the northbound and southbound carriageways of the Bruce Highway. The existing three-span bridges will be demolished and replaced with new bridges.
