The Department of Transport and Main Roads would like to advise that rock hammering activities will be undertaken near the Bruce Highway, adjacent to Wilson Road, Tanawha from 10 December 2018, weather permitting, as part of works on the highway’s northbound carriageway.
The activity will involve breaking away the rock face near Wilson Road and is anticipated to take about three months to complete, weather permitting. Excavators with rock hammers will be used to complete the work.
