Disgraceful Internet Speeds

Disgraceful Internet Speeds

O.K we’ve had enough! How can we survive on an internet connection at Chancellor Park which is only 4 times faster than my old 56K modem in 1996? Have we not progressed very far in the internet world? Do our internet service providers and all levels of Government take us for fools? Somebody please tell us? What is wrong with the Buderim exchange where our internet service provider is so overloaded that the problem cannot be fixed?

You know, I’m all for people trying to lobby Government for faster internet, and also complain to your ISP, but we can only go so far. ChancellorPark.com.au is trying to provide an important community resource with only .22mb/s download speed on some nights. Disgraceful, and we’re supposed to be running ADSL 2+ on our connection at Sippy Downs.

We often hear the stories of slow speeds in our area, and the cases of “no ports available.” Please share your stories below.

As for the N.B.N, don’t get me started on that.

Something needs to be done, and done soon. So my friends, complain and complain hard. Hopefully someone will listen.
